Ok I'm new...theres the first issue :)

I have some problems...ok alot of problems really...first of which is well I am a N00B and not a noob meaning you can throw a bunch of scripty things at me and I know what they mean but no idea how to issue them into some sort of pattern a comp can read..no no I mean you say script i look at you like "the font on the back of my car" so there is my first issue...My second is I want to make a stellar kick ass game plain and simple and I need things to do this with..so I have spent days going through tutorials and cutscenes and script manuals and videos and yah da yah da deh!! any way I have learned the basics..you know how to use a switch to make a guy move how to intiate a fight how to build a house how to set a tree.....thats the game part so yeah I can make a game...but I need the 'stellar' part...for instance a side view final fantasy type battle....cutscenes that don't show me in them and do what I actually want them to do....making it to where I can't walk around when I am supposed to be listening ...making a text box appear with the face of the person speaking next to it.....I need alot of help and if someone could find the patience to nit pick through all my faults, problems, and mistakes with a tiny little comb (and some special shampoo) and help me out with all this crap....well I will do my best to make it up to you :) thank you so much!!!

So you don't have to nit pick TO much if your just looking for specific things to help me with :)

-Side view battle where the run up to creature (or parter member) and attack
like final fantasy :)
-Cutscenes that actually work for me the way I wish them to
-don't want to be able to move during my cutscene
-IMPORTANT TO ME!!!- a text message box that shows picture when person talks!!!
-using more then one tileset..like an add-on off the internet
Thanks again hope this helped..oh and I'll def. add to this to :)

I am online and will be most of the day..so if you wish to help i am ready tyvm!!

A lot of the stuff you ask for IS script-related or just takes some figuring out. Mess around with RMXP for a bit get used to it, make some terrible short games to try out different features. No one makes a "stellar game" on their first shot, or even their second. And please, use the return button when typing so much, Big blocks of words are impossible to read.

I won't stop the game I am on until it is stellar..rather then making thirty bad

games to learn

I'd much rather learn THEN make the game

it may seem stupid to some but I guess it's the way I work best...learning as I go.

and If I am in the wrong section someone tell me because I would have no idea thanks :)

I'll cover a few of the things you listed...

For the side view battle system, just look in the "Submitted Scripts" thread. There should be a few good side-view battle systems in there. There is a sticky thread at the top which gives a list of different types of scripts (battle systems, etc.)

-If you don't want to be able to move during your cutscene, you'll probably want to set the event to "Auto-Start". This prevents player movement.

Pictures in text boxes? I recommend ccoa's Universal Message System (in the submitted scripts thread). It gives SEVERAL new features to the message system.

You can't use more than one tileset. However, you CAN merge two tilesets together using a graphical editing program (I use GIMP). There should be a tutorial in the tutorials section about this if you need more help with it.

My recommendation is to make a short practice-game before making your actual game.
