Obligatory Intro Thread

I know I've been on sort of a posting spree since I joined, so l thought that I may as well introduce myself. My name is Daria, which is sort for Alexandria. I'm 28, and while this isn't the first time I've picked up RPG Maker, this is really the first time I've ever seriously attempted to make my own game. I do have a background in fine art, although not practicing currently so my drawing skills are pathetically rusty. I'm also really into all things RPG, both on the table and the tv. I collect games, and just thought it would be a lot of fun just to do my own. So yeah, that's why I'm here.

well the story's not that long but it loses all its oomph if i tell it secondhand.
