Ntiles server on XP

Hi people,
        I'm having a big problem with my rpgmaker xp. I just formatted my computer and installed a fresh copy of Windows XP SP1 and then it upgraded it to SP3. After installing rpgmaker xp, when I load it I get this error message : "failed to obtain a trial serial number from the ntiles server". I don't have a firewall or antivirus blocking it at the moment - the fact is that after launching the program my screen freezes some 5 seconds and the error message appears. I tried to uninstall and install it again but to no avail.

Does anyone encounter the same problem on a fresh install of windows xp sp3? Thanks a lot.

(Note: I never had this problem when using Rpgmaker XP on Windows XP SP2)

If you search ntiles in this forum, you'll find a post from a few days ago with your solution. Look for the reply by Glitchfinder.

The post he is referring to is here. It should work the same on Windows XP SP3 as it does on Windows Vista and Windows XP SP2.
