NPC will not exit

I know this has been posted before but I still cannot get this NPC to exit. The NPC is triggered to talk once my player lands on a certain spot. After the dialouge he walks towards the door and is suppposed to disappear.

I have tried putting change image to none and the end of the move route, I have tried to add a control trigger after the movement is completed to a blank page and still nothing. Normally this would work. I don't know if it is because of the previous triggers. I even set the triggers to off before he starts walking.

I've been fretting over this for the last 24 hours......please help.

You have the switches set up right.

It's most likely the number of moves in the move route. If you try to move the event past the edge of the map, it won't finish the move route, or set self switch B.

Either edit the move route so he stops at the edge of the map,
or set "Ignore if Can't Move"

That Brewmeister said^

For extra punch, maybe you can also add in the "Through On" into the NPC move route, so he will walk through obstacles, especially the "warp/teleport" event that is most likely placed at the exit point (door). >_<
