Hey, uh, this might be a little nooby of a question so please don't eat me. O_o
I'm basically making a free running game (stunts and junk) and Umm, I want to make my guy do a backflip when I press a certain button, a front flip when I press a different button, etc. I don't have trouble making the sprite sheet, I just need to know how to make him do certain stuff when I press a certain button. Nooby question, I know, but can anyone help me?......

Will the whole game be like that? As in will the whole thing be the free running game? If so you're better off using another program like Game Maker, imo. RPG Maker does just that-RPG's.

Yeah, the whole thing is free running, but RPG Maker is really the only program I have any experience in. I've tried game maker but uh......don't know what the hell I'm doing, even with the tutorial....
