First off, I'm thrilled to be here. :grin: This is the beginning of my making of a cliched (well maybe not so much, but still slightly) RPG. This has been a personal dream of mine ever since I discovered RPG maker for the PS1, and gave up on it because the program was too limited. That dream had been kept in the corner of my mind untill a few weeks ago, when my friend showed me RPG Maker VX, which he had downloaded off of LimeWire (which I know is illegal :thumb: ) or something of that sort. Being the average, mild-mannered, law abiding citizin that I am (who's not a superhero by any means, I promise!), I downloaded the 30-day trial, loved it, and bought the full version. The past couple of weeks or so I've spent tinkering with all the features and scripting system, and recently I have begun working on an actuall project. :lol:
Anyway, a little about myself. My name is Samantha, often shortened to Sam or Sammy, and I'm currently nineteen years old. I am a human being who resides on the planet Earth, and I work at Wal-Mart I'm a nerd, and quite proud of it. My major nerd obessions include computer science, anime and manga, and Dungeons and Dragons, which I play weekly with my friends. I'm also a big video game freak, and as you'd probably guess, enjoy mainly RPGs, as well as platformers and adventure games such as Mario, Sonic, and Legend of Zelda. I'm glad to meet everyone here, and I hope you all have great game making experiences. You are all more than welcome to send me private messages if you have any questions, would like to be friends, or just want to have a casual chat. :smile:
