Non attacking characters

How do I make that a certain class\chara can't mele attack? (Could only buff\heal\use magic)
Cuz' I want to make a shaman class like in WoW that sumons healling\buffing totems, and because I put them on self control they always attack!

Well, if they attack for 1 damage, the player won't bother if you see what I mean.

They can always use their fists. Not handy, but in real life it can save you sometimes.

Yes, but I want them to be auto attacking, means the player won't manual them.
I'm using VX, just so you know.

Maybe you could request a script that makes it so you can choose which actors are self controlled, and give them a skill list they can use, which means they wouldn't attempt to punch the enemy ?
