Just got done watching the Nintendo E3 press conference.
In short:
FOR THE WII
- Animal Crossing: City Folk. Will have a new "city mode", as well as Mii support and Voice Chat, online multiplayer
- Wii Sports Resort. Utilizes new Motion Sensor Plus, has some cool minigames (swordfighting, Wave Race-esque racer, frisbee throwing)
- Star Wars Clone Wars. One-on-One lightsaber duels, force powers with Wii-mote.
- Wii Music. 50+ instruments, recordable music videos, Mii support, drum simulator (with balance board), classic game music (i.e. F-Zero, Mario, Zelda)
- Raving Rabbids 2. More party crap.
- Call of Duty: World at War. Wait... another WW2 shooter!? SO ORIGNIAL. Zapper support.
FOR THE DS
- Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia
- Guitar Hero On Tour. Can play songs with other people with different versions of the game.
- Spore DS. Where's Spore Wii?
- GTA DS. Modern-day Liberty City, free-range gameplay we expect
- buch of other crap
Possibilities
- DS connection at airports (check times, baggage, etc.), stadiums (baseball scores, trivia with other fans at games, alread in use in Seattle), cooking help (seriously... cookbooks and timers and stuff)
- Mario and Zelda teams "hard at work". GROUNDBREAKING: DEVELOPMENT TEAMS ARE DEVELOPING.
For me, this was a big letdown except for Animal Crossing Wii, which has potential to be a pretty fun online experience. No comment on the Conduit either, a FPS which looks pretty legit as well (kick ass graphics, deep online multiplayer expected).
Meh.
OH SHIT EDIT:
I forgot that they didn't say anything about Monster Hunter 3 for the Wii. IGN said that there probably wouldn't be a MH3 announcement, but that it is in development. I'm stoked for that.
