The Story:
Mario finally gets a chance to relax at home after once again saving the princess from the clutches of King Bowser. The citizens of Toad Town throw him a huge celebration on behalf of his efforts, but what is supposed to be a time of celebration hits a complete 180 when a mysterious man appears telling the citizens to hand over the Princess and demanding she gives him something called the Cosmos Stone. Mario and the Peache's guards do their best to hold off this new threat but miserably fall before the strangers awesome stength. The mysterious stranger Threatens to destroy this world if they refuse to cooperate like the three worlds he visited before this one. Peach tells him she would give him the Cosmos Stone if he promises to leave this world as is. As he is handed the stone another bright light ensnarles all and he vanishes without a trace. The next day Mario awakes in the Mushroom Castles informary. Upon meeting with Peach he is informed in detail of the recent events. He learns that their are Eight Great Worlds aswell as Eight Great Stones which is held in each of these worlds. Mario decides to travel to the worlds that remain to inform the inhabtants about the coming threat and to find out the true motives of this stranger.

So this is kind of like a Smash Brothers RPG, then? I could get into that. If you haven't already looked, there's a good deal of video game character sprites in the downloads section, and the links to the RTPers in the Resource section may also be of use. Just be sure to credit all artists whose work you wind up using.

I approve of this completely. I'm making a game....I guess you could say similar to this. You'd definitely notice the differences though.

Sounds like a decent storyline too and everyone loves side quests.

Don't worry about that I am going to make them much bigger after I finish making the maps I might combine them into one Large map.
I'm not good in mapping at all so please don't go easy on me that way I'll know what to improve on.
Also if anyone is willing to help with the mapping let me know.
