Hello, thought I'd introduce myself.
I came across this place looking for RMXP info.
Even though I'm new here, I'm not new to RPG Maker. I've had XP since it came out a few years back, messed around with it and started work on my own proper game. I fell out of it for a while and rediscovered my old game and started working on it again. I was on another RMXP site way back then... but heck if I can recall what it was.
I'm not some secret pro with the program or anything. I just try to find some fun in making things, maps, databases, scripting events and cutscenes. I pretty much use the RTP. I'm not good at making my own graphics(or scripts for that matter) so I've resorted to just editing the RTP sprites and battlers to look more like what I would want. I've experimented with some customs scripts before, but usually I can't get them to work right so I don't bother with it much.
I have tried VX btw... wasn't too impressed by it so I didn't upgrade to it.
Anyway, I'm just here to see what's out there XP wise and learn some new tricks. :thumb:
