New Moon

(I don't get why Jacob isn't on the poster—he has a much larger role in New Moon than most of the Cullens. In fact, I personally would have made Edward absent on the poster, but then again I guess Rob Pattinson is a big selling point for most of the target audience.)

So I'm a bit surprised that there isn't a thread for New Moon yet. For those of you who don't know, New Moon is an upcoming film scheduled to be released on November 20th, 2009. That day just happens to be my birthday, so you can see why I'm super-excited!

New Moon is the second novel in Stephanie Meyer's Twilight saga. Edward is actually absent for the majority of the story, as he believes that he is a danger to Bella. During his absence, she falls into a very deep depression, and becomes very close with her friend Jacob Black, and he eventually helps bring her out of it.

There's more to the story, and I'm personally really excited to see the way the Volturi are portrayed on-screen. So who else is excited for New Moon? Twilight definitely had its flaws, but the trailer for the new film looks great.

Twilight did have its flaws. I'll wait until I hear more, but it seems to have more potential than Twilight.

Girlfriend is an addict to the book series. She's read them more than 5 times each easily! I bought her the hard back of the final chapter and she treats it like gold dust.

I must admit, I'm not usually into these regurgitated, bullshit movies but there were a lot of elements that I enjoyed from the cinemaphotography and script.

I'd watch the sequel for sure.
