The story:

You're going on a holiday but your ship is hit by lightning.
You stranded on a island and you have to survive.

Ill try to respond to what you have:
Honestly, as ship struck by lightning sound a bit odd if you ask me. Why not, it was carried off in a storm or a typhoon carried it off. How did you get on the island anyway. Dod you magically appear there because fate spared you, or was there something else involved. Is the holiday significant to the story, or is it just a place filler and a reason why. Where are you going anyway, meet family, go to a tropical island, ect. Ill give you this much though, it sounds like a good idea. Something original for an game, I havent really seen many of these.
