NEED HELP!!!

Okay I started playing with this just recently, my limited experience with the orginal RPG Maker for the PSONE gave me some help, but what I want to know it, how do I make and encounter battle on a map? I tried battle processing by itself and had a repeatitive stream of monsters, can someone please help me?

Woo <3 Rpg maker for the ps1 was my first time I think.. its been so long.

Also to make a encounter on a map.. right click your map look under troop and left click anywhere in that space of white.

On topic...-_-: In the map's properties dialog box, press space on the selected map to open it, there is a big box on the right. Click in this box and it will prompt you to pick a troop to encounter. You can have multiple troops. Underneath that you set the average tiles walked before encounters happen.

Try making a second page on the event with a condition "X switch is on", then on the previous page, after the battle processing is over, turn X switch on, then it should stop.

I cant help it.. Rpg maker for the ps1 was awesome. Gobli's adventure = pure sex... for the time.
