I need a little help with a movement script. I like the pixelmovement script and I am thinking of editing the movement part to better reflect the style of my game-wip, untitled at the moment.
Think of the movement as like some of the nes games like River City Ransom where the player can move in the 8 way fashion. But when you press up or down the character remains facing the same way and just walks down or up in movement rather than animation. The same works for the diagonal directions which have been coded in the script already. So, I have been away for a while and I am a little rusty. I need to know how this can be done.
Should I edit the direction code or the animation code to check for the direction currently facing?
