Need a color scheme! / critique if you want

I need a color scheme for this cutey:

The pic was taken with my phone, so it's not the best quality...but it's enough for it's purpose.

I'd like to use some greens, reds, oranges... happy colors. I'm not too sure, though...


If you feel like critiquing the pic, too, then go ahead; I'm always open to suggestions~

White dress.
faded red ribbon in hat and undershirt and socks.

Only critique i can manage at the moment is the bubbly thing at the top... I can't figure out what it is heheheh
