Naming problem (difficult)

Ok In my new game you get to select which character you want to be thrw a bunch of question, and then you make your name, i want to be able to use the ( \n[1] ) command to have the text of my NPC say his/her name. The problem is i dont know which character he/she is going to select, so i cant use \n[1] i might have to use \n[3] but it is up to them which one they select, their are a total of 6 characters to choose from. any solutions on how to figure out this problem,

Thank you
Brett

Well, it would be hard, but you could use conditional branches every time you need to use \N[id].  However, I think there was a script somewhere that could change the ID of a character.  You should do a search, because that script will save you a lot of time.

Thats what i came up with to, but i figured it would take up way to much space in the game and slow it down.

I'll look up that script because it really would save me alot of time

Thank you Guardian

OK, I've found what we're looking for here.  The script in there will copy the name from the character specified onto character 1.  This way, you'll have the character, but you can just use \N[1].  It won't be directly referring to the character, but it will be referring to the same name.
