I was having issues getting the server to work, it always just says server not found. I couldn't seam to find any tutorials on getting the thing set up, can anyone please point me in the direction of one so I can get it working? Also to use it do you need an internet conection, or can you simply use it to connect two computers together over the computer wifi(hoc network)?

I don't recommend using netplay yet, version doesn't matter, as long as rgss can't handle online games you can't make one in RMXP. I suggest waiting for vgvgf to finish his
new library, which will allow making an online game (keeps the window updated, has programming network interface, etc..).
