Did you draw Odin, too? It's just weird how different that one is than the other ones.

Actually the origional image came from an art book (for the life of me I can't find it to give you it's name)
I simply re-drew it then gave it a black outline then coloured it in using Paint Shop Pro XI.

Yeah I should have mentioned that! Sorry. I did miss a ribbon that was around his left leg though by mistake!


EDIT: Sorry I do not know whom to give credit to as I redrew this from my memory after reading the book.
If anybody knows the image I based it of please notify me! :wink:

Oh, I understand now. Well, I'll igve you this, your style is very unique. I mean, you have a long way to go before you get there, but it's definitely a good start. Just keep on working at it and I'm sure you'll be great.

Now, look at some more anatomy books. I see how much you improved at one reading, judging on your Odin, there, but you can still learn some more. Look at faces first, then work on bodies. You'll do well.

- The 'slamming the door on love'.. Nice shading on the fingers..
- Tower stuff thing summin. (Looks like it's straight out of a newspaper)
- Looking down (although the cliffs could've used some more attention.)

Well from your Vash Fanart you have the shade values done quite interestingly. Almost impressionist-like. In fact a lot of your pencil shade values have something nice to say. Have you ever tried blending in pencil? You can use a blender or finger, or q-tip to blend the pencil for a different shading technique. If you work more on anatomy and tweak your environmental backgrounds I see you improving greatly. You should join up on a pencil art contest or two>.>(if there will be anymore in the future)

You're forgetting a lot of the veins and stuff..
Anyway, not that it'll add anything to the picture, I'd view it more as art if it'd have a 1 pixel black border around it..
However, I think you got the idea pretty well done..
I looked at it about a week ago, but since no-one commented on it during that week, I'm now revising it again..

Err..
What you have made, is EXACTLY what your inside looks like.. (with very little light, that is)
I like it.
Not on first glance, but after looking at it again, it became clear.
Anyway, the only thing I don't like, (but that's just personal opinion) is the black spot in the middle of the heart.
I dunno..
I think it would be prettier if the heart was fully 'pink'..
(not 'pink' pink, just the color it is atm.)
