My Tyke2... (WIP)

Ive been working on a full custom Tyke2 spriteset. Most of him is finished, I just need to do 2 of the back sprites. Now, from what Ive currently done, I need feedback. Oh, and his other versions will come later.

Hey, the character is looking good bud but you need to fix up some things, the frontal hair needs to come down lower to match the side (or the other way around), also the color is too dark for the hair, you should use a lighter shade, here's a small example of what i mean, going by the look of the side frame it should come down this low.

Just follow that scalp mark for it, i think when starting out on hair it's always best to make yourself a scalp mark to follow, a line across the forehead will do.
In my opinion you should use around 3 to 5 shades max for each area like hair, clothing and such, i think this will make the character look better.

Also that cloth on the leg should become darker when the leg moves back.

EDIT: That color i chose should have been a tad lighter too :D

It looks good but why does it look like he's got a red mark on his forehead on the side ones. And the hair from the front and side have slight differences. But they are the only small problems, otherwise he looks good!
 
That redish line? That was on there when I started on the template.

And, yes, now that I look at it, the hair is a bit to high on the frontal. But the colour pallete will never change!!!:mad:

Also, when I make enough resources, (About 20 or so), Ill start a game with this template:p
