My real father?

Well, I recently turned 20 and I have been really wanting to start the search for my real father. As most of you know I was an orphan. I was watching some old movies and I saw my mother in the background of a film with Kevin Bacon in it. I think he might be my dad. I know it sounds like an old drama "boy finds father" movie and I know how unlikely it is, but just look at me and him when he was my age:

Ya, she worked in the movie industry for a while. She has worked near a lot of people who are big stars now. Last time I asked her who my dad was she told me "you wouldn't believe me if I told you".

No, its not a joke. It is just me trying to get some support. The more I think about it, the more it kinda makes sense. I have been watching his movies, interviews and everything else I can find about him and some of our similarities are uncanny. We even have the same voice.

Even if he WERE your father though ... Why would it really matter? I mean he didn't lift a finger to raise you. Best you could hope for is to win some kind of alimony/child support because he's rich as fuck but even then, you're not a kid anymore, so it's unlikely you would see any money at all.

I guess it would be mildly interesting to know if you could expect any kind of horrible genetic diseases I guess.

IMO your biological presence on the earth is little more than the luck of the draw in a random smattering of material playing dirty poker. Your PARENTS are the people who raised you.

I never met my real father. I know who he was--a giant douchebag--but he lived and died and I found out 9 years after the fact and didn't really care. In the end he was just some guy. I am thankful for the genetic material I guess. Otherwise it doesn't really matter.

Unless I guess it would be mildly cool to be able to go around and say "hey lol im kevin bacon jr" but no one would believe you anyway :P

Ya, I know. It is just a lingering migraine I can't seem to get rid of, It is a big part of my anger and frustration. I don't want his money, I want to know why he left. See, my mom worked in the movie industry until she was 40 when she was diagnosed with cancer, she died a few years later. I never saw much of her as I was raised by a 74 year old bartender, a 64 year old martial arts expert, and the rest of the community of Lakewood, WA. Not many people know this, but my mom was a big whore and loved sleeping with celebrities, she would send me letters of her latest scandal. I have always been rather talented and never knew where it came from, as my mother was about as talented as an orange. But it is always nice to know that THE venetia understands my frustration. lol. I almost sent his agent a message but I am very hesitant.

I know it is a bit optimistic, but Kevin does have relatives so maybe it isn't him per-say, just someone in the same gene pool as him. I know of one of his brothers. Its all just so confusing. :crazy:
