My PSP is feeling like giving me a headache...

I've read numerous online tutorials about this, and they all said the same thing.

Take your PSP MP4 video file and put it in 0001MNV01 or something like that

This however does not seem to work as my PSP still does not see it. Hell, it doesn't even register that the video file is taking up space. Does anyone know wtf is wrong?

Hmm... is it something you downloaded or is it something you pulled from your computer to your PSP?

If you took it from your computer and ported it over to your PSP, than you should have put it in the video folder (also keeping in mind that the PSP will only read 1 folder deep). Also, make sure to have gone to your system settings and have "Enabled WMA Playback" to make sure it plays MP4s.

But, really, I'll need some more details. I've gotten plenty of videos to work on my PSP (even ones i downloaded off of PSN from the PS3!). It also depends if you're talking about something you downloaded or downloaded off of the PSP itself.

Can you give me a bit more detail?

okay simple, in video folder make a folder called 0001MNV01 and put the video in there

I always put my videos in a VIDEO/VIDEOS folder in the drive root. It works.

I ripped the file from Hot Fuzz, so I doubt that's the problem. And I tried both of those ideas, and it either doesn't show up or it says "Corrupted data". It's really frustrating honestly!

okay.. ummm serach google for a program called PSP video 9, it will convert it and do everything to make it work on the PSP

MP4 works with the PSP, it says so on the website.
