My new game - Zombie Typing Survivor

Hi all,

Let me present to you my latest game. The game is named "Zombie Typing Survivor". The goal of the game is to survive to all the Zombie waves coming after you.

Unfortunately, I won't work on others games anymore because I don't have time. So, this will be my last game of this year at least.
This game is really inspired from the "Typing of the dead" game on Dreamcast (if I'm not wrong). I have to say that I have never played that game and I wished I did. I just saw a couple of videos on youtube about the game and applied some basics stuff such as the background of the text. I got the idea of this game while I was in the restroom.

How to play
The gameplay is simple. Use the Keyboard keys to kill Zombies.
In addition, the player has 3 grenades when he starts. Press Space bar to launch one. A grenade kills all the zombies of a wave. Use them wisely. Remember you only have 3.
The game used the font "agency FB" which is a Windows Default font. Nevertheless, if you have a different OS, the game will use a default font of your OS. No worries about that.

Title screen music by brandon75689 (tragic Ambient Main menu)
In game music by HorrorPen (Dramatic Action)
Characters sprites: Pokemon Black and White version with some modifications.

Sorry, I hadn't done that in a really long time.

Anyhow, great game. The music and sound effects are of terrible quality and very annoying. I got a 1770. I guess I'm not such a fast typist. I do feel that longer words should score higher than shorter words.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. I'm also sad that you found the sound very annoying :sad: . It took me quite long to choose sounds that could fit. anyway, you can mute all the game's sound if you really don't like them.

To finish, I have a lot of good ideas to make the game better such as make longer words score better than shorter but, because I made this game with the free edition of the software, I couldn't to it. There is a event limit to respect. So, it will be for the next time I guess.

I thought about it and believe me...I think that all handheld devices are allergic to this kind of game :dead: .
The main problem is the size of the screen and the size of the portable's keyboard. Just look when you type a text message. If you have an android device, I think it's worst. The keyboard takes half of the screen.

Nevertheless, I would love to see how it looks like on a tablet like an IPAD or Samsung tabs... I think it will be better. I wish I had an IPAD to test it. Grrrr....

You're totally right dude. And don't forget the size of the screen too. Even with the several inches Apple added to the iPhone 5, it won't be enough :biggrin: .
