My idea of time travel

Ok this is what I think of time travel. (Names Chosen at random)

Year: 2998
Ken made the first time machine.
Year: 3000
Ken mass produces it.
Bill buys one and goes to the year 2007

Year: 2007
Bill sells his one.

Year: 2009
Time machines sold to thousands.

Year: 2998
Time machine already exists so ken doesn?t make one.

Ok now it gets tricky.

Year: 3000
Since ken didn?t make the time machine bill doesn?t go back and sell his.[/FONT]
So it isn?t sold and ken will make one.[/FONT]
Go to year 2998.[/FONT]

(This is all theory as it is not proven, yet :p)
Actually this will create a paradoxon(sp?).
It will cause the exisiting reality to split into two realities.
One where Ken built the time machine and another where Bill "created" it.
It's like if you traveled back in time and killed your own grandfather.
There are many theories about time traveling and parallel dimensions.
I for myself think, history can't be changed. If you had the same choice thousands of times, you would choose the same choice over and over again.
