My Game Logo

Recently I started a new project after a massive computer crash. I just finished the logo for the game. Comments/Suggestions/Critiques?

Wow..That's pretty good! One comment:
The outline for the middle character seems too rough. It sticks out too much, but that might be one of my personal opinions. :D I just think it would look better if the three characters had a soft outline so the attention would be on the words, with the characters as an awesome background.

Firstly, the logo looks pretty good but as the writing is white needs a coloured background in my opinion.

Now to Wallace's quote. The rought outline does look bad on the logo i agree, but your refering to the tiltescreen and its extremley unnoticable unless you look closley at it.

Yeah, I see. I did the outline on everyone though for a more 3D type effect, however. I understand what you're saying. That was actually the way I first tried it, I just liked this better.

Yeah, that's a good point. I didn't look closely enough at the title screen one. However, if you do plan on using it anywhere else where the outline will show, you might want to make a separate, outline-altered version because it looks great on the title screen. It's very good, better than anything I could make. Really nice job. :)

Please post credit for the artist on the background of the title.

As for the logo, I'm not sure I like the white outlines on the characters, nor the beveling on the text.
A sillohuette logo should have an interesting shape and be easily readable. Take a look at FF logos, and #3 of my animation tutorial: http://tana.mattwilson.org/animation/

That's what i was going to comment on, the white outline on the characters, but it might not be so bad if it where smoother, right now it looks too jagged against the black.

First, the original artist of the title background is Teddy Plaza. Second, I see what you mean. I used an inner-shaddow effect on the characters. Also, the text has a beveled effect along with an inner shadow of black. What would you suggest to do about the jaggedness?

Oli says. Use outter glow with a white tint instead of an inner glow. I love it though but the tagging writing? Hmm Logo yey, text ney. Good work though :)

I gotta agree about losing the bevel on the text. I think it takes away from the title. Flat white text will serve you better here, espeically with the thin font over character outlines (both of which I like BTW). Possibly adding a black outline might help the text pop more too (maybe 2-3 px width)

Enclosed a rough sample of what I mean.

Okay, now I understand. I'll lose the bevel and do the black outline. Thanks for your suggestion!
