My first tileset.

I just started to make tilesets for my game and
want to try to get to look as good as i can so..
How can i make it look better?
Any help would be nice.

Thanks for the advice cactus.
The better color difference helps out so it's not so weird looking.
Any thing else that could help me improve it??

I think this ground color is better, and the dude is the front view of a character i made using my character template
I drew a little while ago and plan to use with this tile set.
Also i recolored the dudes feet and out lined the trees, Thanks for the advice Neverplayd.
The newest one.
IMAGE LINKS DIED AND NOT SURE WHAT IMAGES I WAS UPLOADING

Awesome Bro

Is it me or does that seem a tad small and blurry ?

Also, I don't get the last tree thing, it sticks out of a bed of treetops ? Why not just make the treetops an autotile and put top of one of the trees above it ?

Since all I can see semi-properly is the trunks I can't give must C&C on it. sorry.

The fist picture upload site i used shrank the pic sorry ..... Ok i fixed it.
And the tree in tree tops is a tree in bushes so i can have thick woods.

i think you need more of a difference in the shade of your trees vs your grass. They blend into each other too much. or perhaps even different textures.

It looks kind of like a water color painting (That isn't exactly bad, though.)
The style is original, but the trees need to cast more of a shadow. Also, the trees could use more of an outline. (They would start to look conjoined if they aren't given a significant amount of space. And if each tree is spaced too far, then it won't look much like a forest.) I like the effort you gave to the trees,(That is if you made all those little leaves one-by-one.) but it starts to look like spray paint on the farther right side of the tree. But, meh, it is a different style, so it might go well with different style character sets. It wouldn't go well with RTP, because of the lack of an outline and the dull colors, but it is a nice tileset overall.
Edit: Actually, the grass looks kind of RTP-ish.

Ahh, ok then. Well, they seem to fit pretty well with the tileset. ^^
Although it seems like you pillow shaded a little. The pants and shoes seem like they have light coming from two different light sources; but those may not be finished, so I shouldn't start judging it.

Thanks for the advice on the character too, here i will try and fix it real quick....
And i made the trees by drawing a little group of leafs in four shades and then i
put them into bigger groups tell they were about the size of the bushes and made
the tree tops out of the bush sized leaf groups.

I never intent to make any tileset .I don't know how to do 0_o
Dude ,you really have a good job .
your tileset  nice and smooth .
You may add shade for tree and something of the tile ,they 'll look better
