My First Tileset

I'm making all of my game's tilesets, and this is the first one I did. I did my best, and I think it turned out very nice.

(By the way, please do not use this tileset)

Here's the tileset:

And here are some screenshots using it:

Please critique it. I have a long way to go.

It's a great start. My only realy suggestions would be this:

I) the grass is a little bit tiled. Meaning that one can easily tell where one grass tile starts and another ends just by looking at it: they don't mesh together that well. To make them 'flow' a bit better, one simply needs to blend any stand-outish bits (big clumps of a certain colour or the like) to match the rest of the tile more, and avoid any concentration of one colour along the edges, in particular.

II) the TS itself seems a bit saturated (bright). This can easily be fixed using Photoshop or GIMP, or any other similar program.

Other than that, I have little else to say. The trees are a bit short on shading, but that seems to be the style; it's consistent with the rest of the set, and they don't actually look bad. It's a great start; good job. :)

It looks nice if I were you I'd use different sprites that match the style of the tileset. Also I would put in more object, maybe tall grass, different plants and what not also the grass doesn't seem to blend.
