This is my first EVER try at attempting a sprite can people please rate it outta 10 and tell me what i could do to improve. Thankz much appreciated.

3/10 because it retains a human shape. :-\ It needs to be shaded, at the very least.

It's meant to be human lol i was just doing that as my first to see how it turned out, can you explain how to shade?
well, it's not that bad for a first sprite, I'd give it an 5
anyways, you might want to chance the brown border into black and work from there, the basic usual rule for spriting black clothing is use dark gray and good shading
The borders are extremly messy, fix that, don't use brown.
I don't really like the shoulder pads....emo's don't wear them....nor does anyone.
Again, to shade, just change the border to black for where the cloths are black, and shade the cloth gray.
