First you must create distributable file and then try Filefront (Upload the ONLY file that comes while compressing your data) It takes about a ghalph hour if uploading on Filefront ! Hop that helps !

Encrypting is very easy, if you compress it, you go to File > Compress Game Data > select where the folder needs to be placed (default is the game's file) and you can checkbox encrypt. Thats all it, now you have a distributal file.
If you encrypt your game, no one will have acces to the scripts, graphics maps and so on, however, everyone can still acces the audio file. Enterbrain didnt think it was needed to let it encrypt that as well.

Ok umm... I tried out RPG Maker VX, and it's like... not my style. Sure you can do some stuff easier, but that auto-tiling thing sucks because... here's an example:

Say u want to make an aztec temple. You already run into problems! The program thinks that your tiled floor/ceiling is all connected! So it comes out like this:
________________

|==============+ _ _
|==================|
|==================|
|==================|
|==================|
+____________________|

well, basically u get the picture: The floor/cieling runs together as one. And everything's too blocky, and there's like no music, and... I'd just rather get RPG Maker XP. So.... I have changed my mind and am going to make a game with RPG Maker XP instead. I'll get back with ya'll when it's near finished (or I might have some questions along the way XD).

You'll regret that eventually.... but anyway.
I thought the same thing when I started VX. Some of the mapping does make things tough. But when you start to look at the game elements rather than just the map, you'll love VX. What you'd do there, however; with your temple problem is use the little shade tiles. On one of the tilesets you have like four different tiles that just look like darker checkers (the background) you use those to separate the different levels of floors. But basically.... you try to stay away from that, I guess..... Here's a screen of my current project.

If it's music you're worried about, I recently found this treasure trove of amazing music by a guy called IskatuMesk:

I like custom music better anyway. Sound effects are another story.

Other than that, I really like how you can use indoor tiles on outdoor maps. Plus... no layers... no hassle. Just paste 'er on there and start eventing. : )

Good luck though. I hope you give VX another shot.

What Mikee said, VX is much better then you might think at first. I dont use it either, I got XP before it and got used to it better, but if you just start with RPG making you'll see that VX is alot easier to start with.
