nice work! but for fighter 01 you may want to make his armour a lil less red... and work on his hair a lil more... it helps to use some of the colours of the original sprite for your pallette, also fighter 03's hair might need to be worked on a tidbit more, anywho yer doing great so far, keep it up!

Wow, pretty darn good for a first attempt. Would like to see the arshes (fighter01) completed too. It looks a little different too, which is always nice. Good work keep it, will be looking for too seeing more from you.

Its pillowshaded. Try and work on the shading.

You also need to shade the template itself where the hair would make a shadow(on both)

http://www.over-the-moon.org/dollz/tutorials/shade_folds.html Has a breif explination as to what "Pillow shading" is, and a few tips on how to avoid it. Also, I just made up this explination in our Wiki: [rw]Pillow Shading[/rw]

Overall, the shading does need work. You should have more contrast, and take a bit more time to figure out where the shadows should be placed.
