My drawing review

I really wanted to enter the october drawing contest but i couldnt because of the lack of time in my schedule, but well i can add one of my drawings once in a while for you to review it

As far as drawing goes its pretty good. It looks more like a potrait than a character design. Good work none the less.

It is a portrait, thats why it looks like 1 lol, i didnt have time to make the character :'( i just scanned one of my homworks and im showing it

That's a fairly good portrait Busbuzz. There is only one minor flaw a can see; the eyes are set slightly to far apart and they're little larger than life. The generic human face is usually about five eyes wide; with the length of one eye in between the person's two eyes and one eye length between the outside of each eye and the edge of the head. Other than that, the proportion is excellent. Perhaps you could add a tad more tonal range to the lower half of the face and neck. It would give added dimension, definition and weight to the head. How long did you spend on this drawing? Were you working from a reference image or sketching an actual person?

It's a very nice portrait. As Icarus mentioned, the drawing would be
stronger if you spent a little more time with the tones on the lower part of
the face. The composition looks a little bit unfinished.

Love the sheen on the hair. Very nice. Looks soft.

I think perhaps the pupils could be a bit larger as well. Typicially, pupils aren't
that small unless the light is very bright.

Right now the hair is the part of the drawing that the viewer's eyes
are drawn to. That's due to the high contrast.

I'm not an expert, but there are my two cents.

Hey thanx for the comments, this drawing i did it sketching the actual person, it was a homework for my drawing technique class.
