Musicz and musics

So anyways, Ive been working on this song for a little bit and think I have a nice melody and whatnot. The only issue I have is how to add on to it. I dont know what instruments would go good with the piece or what kind of melody I should shoot for. I would love to add more, I just dont know where to continue.

i like the melody, just not all the electric kicks and snares and stuff. I have an idea, the (strings?) are a nice idea, especially something electric like above.

ok so
the intro is good
but at 0:27 i expect a shitload of sounds to be avalanching at me, wild rushing melodies, heavy bass, everhting
instead i get the same background pattern repeating and err virtually nothing more

work on that

ya thats what tends to happen, I can make melodies but I cant make matching melodies so I tend to repeat a lot and then it sounds well repetitive. Ill work on that. thanks. c:

Ill probably tuck this away in the (garbage) section.

an easy way to do a matching melody is to determine a scale before you make a melody (durr)
but if you're not familiar with scales, you can look them up (http://www.musicalscales.com/ for example)
if you stay within those notes, the melodies almost always match
this is a lazy man's method, but anyway
;D

This is what Ive been working on of late now. After I was shot-down and beaten by Tomas and his iron fists, I lost all interest in making chiptune. o;

Im kinda stumped again. I wanted to have a guitar solo after bass-guitar ends, but I dont know really what to do again. Like how should I approach it, should I go with something faster-paced or slower? And again, is this worth pursuing and is it a decent enough rhythm to pursue?

well, a way to figure out good melodies is listen to some
a couple of guitar/other solos that sprung to my mind while thinking of some were:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBUaKLlc_Kw @2:57
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocEXPGilmbs @5:31

not the best examples of a guitar solo, but those are solo's that are forever etched in my mind
and produced electronically
note: it's incredibly difficult to simulate a guitar

btw your drums still lack coherency
like i suggested before
(you use fl studio right?)
throw them all in a mixer track (mixer is f9)
(you do this by selecting the channels (noticable by the lit-up green dots) and right-clicking the mixer track)
after that, apply a filter, and maybe some subtle reverb

I dont think youve ever suggested that to me Tomas. o:

and lol I just learned what the mixer was today. Maybe just a few years late. I tweak around with it, Im still trying to get the hang of it and see what things actually do. c:

and yes i use Fl
