Alright... my main idea is this: Either create a script that allows the game to have more than one party in a database to switch when called, or something that (and I'm not sure if this is already done or not in RMXP) will keep a character's stats, level, abilities, etc. when they are removed from the party a la event.
If stats ARE saved by RMXP, please forgive me for posting this - due to various other script-related/time consuming issues, I haven't been able to test whole party changes yet.
The basic idea is this: In my game, characters are very often, if not constantly splitting up, changing around, going it alone, joining the 'other side', etc. Presuming the game saved stats before removing a character, this would be simple enough by removing, adding, and changing party members handfuls at a time - however, as characters come and go, I want their stats to remain constant; rather than having them back to the initial values when a character re-enters the party.
I hope I've been descriptive enough... Don't know how much hassle this/these script(s) would be, but I would very much appreciate anyone who could solve this problem and/or let me know whether RMXP does reset stats or not.
