Moving to the left

Yep my characters all of a sudden want to move left...
and if I hold right they go up...
and if I hold right and down they stop...
this never happened before so I'm at a loss on what to do
I read that switching keyboards can help but I already tried 2 other keyboards and I also checked for joysticks but nope it's not that either

Restart your computer. Restart RMXP.

I checked for gamepads

the only gamepad I use on the PC is the wiimote and the classic controller and none of them are connected just now

I do have scripts but I tested to see if the problem persists on a new game and it does

Nope just on RPG maker xp

dunno maybe I could try using other keyboards again

Try unplugging any and all input devices then plugging them back in.

Just RMXP?
You could start a new RMXP project, and copy your maps, switches and variables. If anything that should narrow done the cause if not solve the problem.
