moving floor

You know those little 2d Zelda puzzles? There was one that I still fail to incorporate.

You are on a semi-small platform that is moving, and it passes by another moving platform, and you must walk onto it. Well, I can't seem to get the character to move with te platform automatically as if he's standing on it. I can have it so I move event him but them he gets stuck and I can't control him to get to the other platform. The tiles move from under him.

Also, I can't do it unless I have the floor under him walkable...which makes the whole puzzle pointless. If I don't, he'll just get stuck inside the impassible floor.

I want it so that if he steps off the platform, he'll fall down one floor/map. I cn do this with you know, events being the holes (still have the problem on him not moving with platform though) and have them move but I really want the platform moving instead. has anyone been able to accomplish this?
 
Moving platforms is a lot harder than it sounds. I did this for one part of my game but it's not great. I had to resort to requiring the player to use 'Action Key' to get onto the platform, and then I used a move route to move the player and the platform together.

My issue, which I think you mentioned, is that there is some sort of 'glitch' where two events moving at the same speed, while the screen is scrolling, slowly grow farther apart in relative distance. So eventually the player slides off the platform. If anyone knows why this happens and how to fix it, let us know!
