Mother 3 battle system script needed

ok so here's the deal, i have been trying to get my own battle system to work right but it never seems to work. so i was searching through the archives for about an hour and then mozila crashed. i took it as a sign that i wasn't gonna find anything. so i wanted to know if someone could link me to an already existing or make a MOTHER 3 style battle system. I've been working on this project for about two weeks now and cant get the battle system to work correctly, so i turned to you guy's for answers. for those of you who have playeed mother 3 or earthbound you know what type of battle system i need.

Well for those of us who HAVEN'T played Mother 3 or Earthbound (Like me...), maybe you could explain how the battlesystem works ? (Also, showing images would help tons) It'd have been easier if you had just followed the posting template when you made the thread, lol.

and here is a description:
its turn-based, you can do combos by pressing the action button at the correct time. moves you can do are divided into four groups,basic attack,Items,Special moves, and guard. the name for the basic attack changes between characters and the basic attack is the only attack that can do an combo hit there is also only one basic attack per character, the items option lets you use items obviously, the name for special moves changes between characters and will let you perform a more powerful attack cause status problems on the enemies heal you or your teammates and etc., guard makes you guard yourself and take less damage. the battle system uses rolling counters to tell how much HP and SP(PP) you have left. it also shows for a front view much like the default battle system. a message box appears every time a player,teammate, or enemy does something. the background is a moving image as well. I really do belive video could help you understand the battle system more though, so here you go:

thats the first boss fight, if you'd like to get a better feel for mother 3 download the ROM since it's not released in America, also patch the fan translation to it for the English language.

oh by the way the script just has to be similar to this, not exactly the same
