Nice. The warm colour scheme works a lot betterrrrr.

The warm palatte is a lot more retro and old looking, and fits a lot better.
I really adore the way you make them look like they're actually standing there, not just floating.

I was going for a kind of retro/old school war of the worlds (1953) approach with that one. I'm really keen to do more but I rarely have the time to do anything anymore

there'd be more light coming from the sky behind them, i mean you'd be able to see "halos" of light on their arms and edges

Hehe it's only a doodle on a photo I found. No biggie.

The shadows have mixed views so that can be left. As for the light on the shoulders, yeah that's correct. I might edit it if I can be bothered.

I think I'll make the stated changes today because, or start over. I looked at it again and it could be a decent piece with the right tweaks.
