Modern(ish) Guard (WIP)

Hey, I've posted a couple times before for various things and I've posted on here under different names (that I forgot the passwords and contact email addresses for) so not many people will known me.

Anyway, I've been doing character sets since back in the RM2K days mainly following RTP style and I've done some stuff with RMXP but I thought I'd try a different style so I used the K-Sama Template for this:

I originally intended this to be a town guard for a fantasy themed town, unfortunately after I put the armour and the clothes on it seemed more suited for a modern or sci-fi theme so I decided to go with it.

I need some advice on the helmet (I feel it looks a bit too pillow shaded) and any other parts that people notice.

Thanks,

Element.

Don't be such jerks. There is nothing 'puffy' about the hands. If anything they look like clenched fists.

That aside, the helmet needs some hair under it or if the guy's bald the face needs to be in front of the back of the helmet. See just below it's eyes? The helmet loots like it's in front of the face, making to guy look like he has a hip and funky afro. Which would be awesome if it weren't supposed to be a helmet.

Also the scanner thing looks like a wonky eye in the zoomed out version. If you extended it one pixel to the left it wouldn't be so similar in shape to the eye, which might solve that.

I think it's great. I love the eye-piece and the overall shading. Nice use of K-Sama!

I hope to see more from you in the future. ;)
