Okay, I'm not talking heavily modding it. I just want to add a little something on.
In the menu, you have equip, status, etc, etc. My question is, how would I be able to add on something like a "requirements" (abbreviated to "Reqs." because I know it probably won't fit in the menu margin) to the menu? Where you click requirements, and based on what you have and have not completed, your next task(s) would be listed?
For example,
The protagonist of my game has a flashback (done this already), and decides that he wants to meet the first secondary character (the best friend/comic relief) at his house before they embark on their epic quest.
I want it to be set up so that you can go to Reqs. from the menu, and it will tell you:
NEXT:
"Find (character) at his residence in (such-and-such) town."
And I can update it.
I know this sounds unbearably complex (it does to me, anyways), and if there's any help you can provide, or maybe a guide on how to modify the standard RMXP games menu, I'd appreciate it so much.
Thanks, and I apologize if this is in the wrong place, too complex of a topic, etc.
