My Game is a SHMUP (Keep that in mind). I was told this was the right place to post stories for them to be reviewed and such.
You play as a 3-Man Squad of Pilots (Name Unknown) who are sent on an exploration and test mission. The Members of your 3-Man Squad include German Badass: John, Latin American: Keeva, and African American: Amber.
Along with other squads, they are sent to test out a new set of Space Fighter Ships that have been created by the United Nations Weapons Lab, Near Mars. During the testing session they shoot the rocks they see around the area for fun (An Excuse for giving the player a nice feel for the controls).
After their target practice, your team is called back. On their way back. Your Squad hears word that another squad found a glowing purple smooth rock floating around on the outskirts of the Asteroid Belt. Your sent on a mission to retrieve the rock and send it back to Weapons Lab.
Moments later the Weapons Lab is Attacked.
Your Team is then ordered by the Government to try and calm down the enemies on the outside trying to attack the Weapons Lab.
Details I haven't really worked out, is what has gone on before like if the enemies, the rock, and humans have been in contact before, whether theres tension or anything. I also don't know what's going to happen after this.
But I was hoping to get ALOT of feedback, because right now this isn't even a story.
