Missing Codec

I have a .WAV file that I am unable to play in any media player. They all say that i'm missing a codec. I used a little program called GSpot to find out what the name of the codec was and it said "0xfffe (Extensible wave format)". So I searched for it on Google and a few other search engines and was unable to find it. Does anyone know a place where I can download it?

the files either broken, or you could try using VLC media player, that should work...

P.S. You dirty perv, stop looking at G spots! >.<

Thanks. I'll try it.

That's just the name of the program that lets you import audio and it tells you if you have a codec or not. It has nothing to do with that. I have no idea why they named it that though.

EDIT: Didn't work. You're probably right about the file being broken.
