Minurature Half Kaizer

Hi everybody,

This is a template I did in about an hour, it's a resize of the male Half Kaizer template. I had 2 reasons for doing this, Number one, I really like the half kaizer templates and have always wanted to see this done, and number two, I can never find any tilesets to go with the Half Kaizers. The Minurature Kaizer has been resized to fit with RTP tilesets. And before anybody asks, I will be doing a female. So, here it is.

Some of the good shading was lost in the process of resizing it, but I plan to restore it as best as I can. Here is a small picture of this guy on an RTP map, just so you can comprehend the size.

I hope you all like it, and I would like some critasism to make it better.

Shrinked HK seem don't fit right with the RTP Tileset. Otherwise, if enlarge the tileset for HK look more better.

Pretty good work, but I don't think it matches the RTP. The template too thin. RTP-Chars are much more tubby.

1. It's too small for the rtp

Thank you all for the critasism, and im sorry if I've offended you Showkaizer.

Remember, i'm still working on this template, If I see the problem fitting with the rtp that everybody else does I deffinantly will make it bigger. Even if I don't see it I still probably will. Well, off to work on him some more, will post edits when im done.

This isn’t a template done by you, did u ever even consider if Showkaizer would think it was a good idea to basically re invent his work by simply changing the size? The half kaizer was never designed to be this small. The whole purpose of it was to add detail. You’ve completely destroyed the idea behind the half Kaisers. You’re not a hero, you didn’t do any work. Showkaizer slaved over a hot oven to produce these. This was a bad idea

I think that's a little bit OTT...

I personally don't like it but he didn't say he was a hero or anything and didn't claim that he sprited it either. He said he resized it. I mean if people can make decent looking sprites out of it, I'm sure that they will credit showkaiser and not Virteous. So then you have a decent looking sprite, proper credit and more options in gamemaking... and showkaiser has already commented on itso he has obviously seen it.

Critically speaking, the sprite does have too small of a feel compared to the rtp. It would need widening.

Hey whatever floats the boat or finds your lost remote. I just find it odd really; that something I created to deviate from RTP has been shrunken down to fit it again. Kind of ruins the purpose of the whole thing. If I wanted to design the template to perfectly fit RTP I would have done so to begin with.

If you want an RTP sized sprite there are a host of other templates to choose from. So shrinking down half kaizers (without my knowledge at that) is pretty much pointless. Just save yourself the trouble, and choose a smaller template, really.

Lastly, if someone makes sprites with these don’t credit me. It's no longer my work. Having someone confuse the template Tana and I have worked so much on with a shrunken down variation would be regrettable.

Yes seriously...I really don't like this attempt because it looks very strange. It isn't the same as what SK already said.

To further strengthen SK's point on this matter, before taking anything anyone has created...ask permission before you go off and decide to alter it. It is very rude just to presume you are doing the better when in reality are in the wrong.

Man showkaizer, he was only having a go at making it smaller. No need to go berserk on him.

I think that these are Ok and so are the er... "full-medium" half-kaizers. I mean if you want a small, but accurate sprite, use this. If you want a big sprite, use half-kaizers.

Ha ha ha ha! Call it whatever you want but I wasn't "going berserk". Everything I said was the truth and only that. Just because it's contrary doesn't make it ill natured. If I were to go "berserk" I'd have already recieved a warning and be close to a ban right now. Buck up kids.

i thought showkaizer was taking it quite well... i mean he wasnt getting seriously ticked er anything... just pointing out his thoughts... and asking before you alter it is a lesson i had to learn the hard way... ehehe
