Mon-Jin-Zen is a gambling game featured in the anime Moribito in episode 10 "Soil and Heroes".
To sum it up, it is the type where you bet money on Mon, Jin, or Zen. This is where the three words come up. Mon is 1, Jin is 2, and Zen is 3; and the dealer throws three coins into a bowl and they spin until they stop. Which sides appear determine the outcome weather you win or lose.
