Metroid Love!

I'm looking for critiques as this is my first time drawing a chibi character(and Samus, for that matter.), and my first time coloring in photoshop. I scanned in the picture, but of course found that the lines weren't as strong as I'd hoped. I don't have a tablet so some of the lines may be squiggly as I used a mouse to go over them.


Let me know what you guys think.

Glad you like the colors. Is it weird in concept or because it's chibi? Either way, thanks for the comment. = )

Hehe. Blame this adorable Valentine's card I found and an avatar made by Scott of VGCats.

They're both adorable and definitely the reason why the metroids have hearts by them. I wasn't going to put them there, but the concept seemed too cute and perfect for a chibi picture.
