It is a very short game but this is one of the hardest stealth games ever. Have you got what it takes to complete this beast?

About:

An epic stealth game where there is one objective, to steal a lot of gold and get the hell out of the castle you stole it from.

Remember, save a lot! Because you will most probably be caught a couple of times and then its game over!
This game can be completed, because I have completed it before. But even I find it a bit hard, and I made the damn thing...

Hey Tunacat,

I like it.

I'd prompt the player to save as soon as they get in the courtyard for the first time since this means they don't have to go through the intro text umpteen times which can be off putting. Or even better incorporate an auto-save function which you could set to save in the courtyard, when you pull the castle door lever, when you first enter the castle etc. (i.e. safe havens where they cannot immediately be spotted)

The opening room could look better, currently it looks like these thieves like lots of garlic, fish and dresses ... whatever turns them on I guess.

A radar-map would come in-handy too, perhaps add a nice looking text script ...

These are all little ideas, your game has lots of promise though :biggrin:

like i dont get the over all depth of this. also the screens are very vacant. If this took less than 30 minutes to make then I dont have much faith in it.

I'm actually trying to download this to play cause I am genuinely intrigued since I did try making a stealth game way back when and gave up on it when I wanted to do way too much and didn't have a lot of experience then. But is anybody having a problem with zShare taking like 50 years just to download 25mb? I prefer if you had different links too, maybe upload it to filefront.

Okay I downloaded it and managed to get into the room with the lever and the pot and the statue. BUT HOW THE HELL DO I CONTINUE? I pulled the lever then nothing happened. I checked everything fifty times. D;

I laughed so freaking hard when the guards starting coming out of no where when you were on the horse buggy. MAN I DIED SOOOOOO MANY TIMES. I swear the Chef is the worst. Wanna walk through?

First part sneak up behind the north house when the guard is going up. Then when he goes down sneak behind him towards the left and hug the right wall. Watch the guard below and when he's looking left or right run up into the door. hit the lever inside. SAVE THE GAME..

Then Run outside, sneak behind the house and wait for the middle guard to walk south again. Run into the castle.

SAVE AGAIN!

This time hug the fountain until the two guards turn left. The run right of them and up to the left. If you're lucky you'll manage to avoid the guard up north. DONT GO LEFT until you go north or the dog will eat you. It's the farthest door

Save again~

Run up and hug the statues . When you see him turn down and stay that way for a long time run right to the next statues. Then wait for him to turn right two times on the second time run up.. and stay in the middle. STOP. Don't go any further you can save here and be safe.

Now when you stand between the two statues up the guards both look at each other then look down. Go either right or left when the guards are looking at each other and stand infront of the statue they are beside. When they look down run up into the room

Save again!

This room is terrible. DO NOT GO RIGHT, always go LEFT. There's a guard that's roving the room clockwise. When you see the guard in the middle come all the way left and turn right. Make your move. You'll see a guard moving super fast left and right. Go all the way to the left of him and about two spaces away. When he goes all the way left start running and you'll run past him, then run around the chef. Save the game. Now here's the easiest part of this game I swear. Wait till the guard is walking away from you and walk north of him. Then he'll face down and go the other direction. That's your cue to move up and hit the switch. The door above you opens.

Save the game again.

Now move out when the guard is walking away from you again and stand north of him. When he leaves hug the wall closest to the chef and all the way south without standing in the line of sight of the chef. Don't worry the guard behind you won't spot you if you don't move north. Save again.

Now here's the tricky part. Remember that guard in the middle. If he's in your path when you do this youll get caught everytime. So you might have to wait a little.

Wait until the chef goes north and then run behind him circling him until you can make it to the left side wall two spaces away from the guard moving back and forth . Do the same thing before and I promise you'll get caught a billion times.

Save again when you get out and go through the door you opened . Preferably going through it clockwise around the outside walls.

When you get past the sleeping guards. Save quickly as you get down. Now you'll have to push the crates to block the stairs in this fashion. -_- Kinda like two on each side and one on the bottom. Hitting enter pushes the crates. Now there is a crate that is not pushable off the wall. You'll have to blow up the wall with Dynamite. And then push that crate. If you did it right you can trap the guards. If not you can still get through it. Makes sure before you grab the treasure that you clear yourself a path with dynamite to run right. Before you get the last treasure save thegame.

Get it and run RIGHT. Keep running. After you cross a bridge save again.

Then get on the horse buggy. when you see guards ahead move up quickly then run right and down through the maze. Guards will now be coming north and east. Run east then run north then run east again and you'll be home free. Enjoy your vacation in Iraq.
