Menu design request try 2

Ok. First off sorry for my last request it was really ugly, but i got all my ducks in a row now!
I am using RMXP
I would like a custom menu that looks like an old parchment with scrawled writing. I don't want anything special just this to replace the standard menu. The only difference (besides the text and background) is I'd like the little arrow selector thing to be an ink drop.

This is what I would like the menu to look like^

This is where I got the font from (it's the Scriptitia font)^
to add the font from the site to your photo shop file go to...
C drive > Program files > Common files > Adobe > Fonts [place the font file in this folder]

For the ink drop^

here is a nice tutorial for photo shop to make the parchment^
I am not using any other scripts for my game so far
Thank you much please PM me for any specific questions or if you decide to take up this project  Thanks again!

Hmmm... I might be able to do this. Or at least the coding aspect, your on your own with the graphics, considering you make stuff look like parchment paper with a windowskin.

So you don't want any of the menu's features changed, except the
cursor and font? I'll work on it a little tonight, but it doesn't seem too difficult.

Just get a picture of burnt parchment paper, and resize it to the background
of the windowskin template, and don't use a border image.

for the font, just do this,

in Scene_Menu,
go to where it says '@command_window = Window_Command.new'

and right under it put:

'@command_window.contents.font.name = "<font>"
