So for the game that FINALLY bridges Megaman 8 to Megaman X, they decided to make it NES style in terms of graphics and controls and music and (most importantly) difficulty.  They even made the boxart for it like the old shitty megaman NES box arts it's so cool.  It's a GREAT GODDAMN GAME and even though it was released on wii first they have since ported it to Ps3 and 360 so you really have no excuse for not owning one of the best games to come out in years.  (They also released a limited edition version that runs on the NES - yes, they made a NES cart of megaman 9 :x)

oh dude they made a cart? holy shit

i mean i've never been a huge megaman fan but idk something about the ATTENTION they put into this is just cool as hell imo. i can't say i'll be able to play it anytime soon (lol pc gaming (is there a rom can i emulate this shit)) but i gotta give mad props to capcom regardless.

There is no NES cartridge.  Mega Man 9 cannot run on the NES.  It's a NES shaped case holder for a CD that contains music and art.

How do I know?  Because I have 10 of them.  Only 200 were made.  I plan on waiting a year or two and then selling it on ebay for thousands.

The game is at my parents house (I use their basement as storage for my ebay store) but if I don't forget this topic over Christmas break I'll gladly take pictures.  I'm trying to collect as many copies of the game until people stop selling them and, I dunno, I kind of want to destroy them all so no one but me will have it :D

EDIT: I don't even think anyone in the world has opened one of these things because all of them are still in the shrink wrap with the 9.99$ sticker on it.  I kind of want to make a youtube video where I open the box and publicly defecate on the disc then wipe my ass with it.

No, it's a replication pawn shop sticker which was one of the few places where you could buy games back in my time because we didn't have no dedicated game stores (funcoland and babages, both of which were consumed by gamestop, where rare).  Wholesale stores like Wal-Mart and Toys R Us carried games but they were so damn expensive you had to rely on the secondhand market.

Yes, people who complain about today's games being expensive piss me off as do people like Epic's president who complain about the secondhand market.  It was that market that created today's "gamer."
