Why my rpg maker doesn't load my maps? only the game loads it.
The matter is, i did a mistake... i added a new map from another project and it was empty and my rpg maker wasn't load my other maps, now it only loads some maps but there are some that it doesn't load...
I need to know how to fix this problem cause my game loads the maps, but i need to edit them and i can't because my rpg maker xp don't loads it...

Thanks!

That was slightly difficult to comprehend... If English isn't your first language, you should try to break up your problem and explain it into small segments, to make it easier for us to understand.

As for your problem... what I assume you mean is that you've put in maps from a different project, and are bummed because they won't show up on the editor.

That's because each map carries a number to represent them (1 to 999, you can see the number on the files' name: Mapxxx.rxdata). The reason they won't show up in the editor is because rmxp creates maps in order, so if you've put in map number 300, but the editor is still at number 24, it won't register the existence of that map for another 276 maps. Or some similar technobabble.

To get them to show up, create a new map in the editor, and remember the number of the map you created. Then, simply close the editor, and substitute the new map you created with the one you want to edit (by renaming it), when you open up the editor again, the map should have taken the place of the new one.

Let's recap:

1. Create a new map in the editor.
2. Remember the number of that map (Mapxxx)
3. Close the editor
4. In your game's directory, open the "data" folder, substitute the new map you created with the ones you wish to import, by renaming the old map.
5. Open the editor again.

There might be another way to this, but that's the only one I can think of right now.
