Hey, back. Just thought i would hit you guys up with some stuff ive been doing. I got the urge to make a manga so heres my pre inked issuem everythng will be smoothed out and blocked off when im done with it. If you want to follow it heres short story on how its suppose to go.
Hilda is in the kitchen cooking when lucas walks up to her
Lucas: wow that smells amazing!
Hilda: *giggles* Thanks, you're acting unusally kind today; whats the matter with you
Lucas: I just thought I'd give my favorite sister a complement, whats wrong with that
Hilda: I'm your only sister and I know when you're up to something; so, what do you want
Lucas: Ok, that was a lie, your cooking is pretty awful. But on a different topic i was wondering....well.
Hilda: Awful...is that so.
Lucas: If i could go outside to play just for a little while! please
Lucas gives hilda puppydog eyes but is quickly shot down with a wooden spoon the the head.
Lucas: OUCH, what the heck was that for......
Hilda: NEVER INSULT MY COOKING AGAIN!
Lucas: .....scary.....
Hilda: Ok, lets make a deal. You can go out as long as you promise not to go too far....
Lucas: I got it, no forest can i go now!
Hilda: *sigh* go ahead, before i change my mind.
Lucas: HAHA worked like a charm!
Lucas: Man, it feels great to get out of that stuffy old house for a change.
Staring into the sun behind the kite lucas tries to make out the shadowy blobs heading toward his kite.
Lucas: Huh, what are those....
Lucas: Crows...what the
Lucas: Get away from my kite you stupid birds!
Lucas: Gotta pull it back in before they claw it to death!
The crows proceed to claw lucas's kite to death.
The kite comes crashing to the ground
Lucas: *Sigh* So much for that....
Lucas: Look at this thing, its completly ruined, what the heck am i gonna do for fun now.
Lucas peers over at the nearby forest with a glint in his eye
Lucas: I could......no, i shouldnt.....Maybe just a quick peek.
Meanwhile- An ominous figure walks down the dirt road toward the house that lucas and hilda call home.
Hilda is chopping carrots to put into her dish when she hears a knock at the door
She walks to the door and opens it cautiously
Hilda's face is drenched in terror and she lets out a single scream
40m Later
Lucas: Wow, it sure got dark fast...i better head back before hilda starts to worry
Lucas: Which way did i come in again..
LUCAS WALKS OUT OF THE FOREST ENTRANCE AND LOOKS AROUND
Lucas: Thats one problem down, now where did i drop that kite
Lucas: Here you are
As lucas bends down to pick up the kite he notices grey dust on the ground.
Lucas: W-Whats this? Ash?
He looks into the sky and notices bellows of smoke filling the sky
Lucas: Black smoke...no
Lucas: Ive gotta get back to the house!
Lucas runs down the hill only to meet the cabin they had been staying it set aflame
As he runs tears begin to fill his eyes
He drops to his knees at the sight of the house on fire
Lucas:.....hilda, no
Lucas grabs the earth with anguish
Lucas: Why didnt I listen, now hilda is......
Lucas is overcome by his emotions and begins to sob deeply.
Lucas: I can feel the flames from here, they're unreal..theres no way i can....
Lucas Looks up at the burning building and in one of the windows he sees his sister weeping, she is saying something but he is unable to make it out
He tries to read her lips but the fire completely overwhelms the building
