Making fonts?

How do you make fonts? y'kno... the kind that can be used in MS Word?

I almost posted a link to the google search of "How To Make Fonts", but that's too smart ass. Though I would suggest googling (or other search engine) the phrase.

But to be fair, unless you have a set of programs such as Adobe Streamline, Macromedia Fontographer, and/or photoshop and other like programs to play with + the earlier mentioned Fontographer... you practically can't make a descent and professional font from what I've seen.

Though here is a link ((FOUND HERE)) that will allow you to make a font online - I believe.

But it's pixel by pixel and not the best program in the world... may be one of the crappier ones.

My personal suggested program for editing fonts'd be High Logic Font Creator, a program I purchased some time ago which hasn't once disappointed me... really good stuff!

Well, how bout this (because I don't have enough RAM for all this), who would like to volunteer to make a font for me?
