Making Characters?

I was wondering if there is such a program that generates hero sprites for your game? I already looked into Character Creator XP and while it is a awesome program the sprites always come out looking npcish. If there is no such program how would I learn to Freinkensprite? Thank you for your time.

I've found when making a game it is better to use your own sprites or edited sprites. It gave me a feeling of knowing that my effort into making a game is worth doing.

Yea I wouldn't go with a creator, it doesn't show originality at all. Spriting is hard (I suck badly) but it's worth mastering for a unique look to a game.

Make the battler first... or you could take requests and people would provide a battler/reference pics or you could just work with sprites and use them in side view battles. You have quite a few possiblities.

True I may do that because I am def no artist when it comes to drawing :-/
